Responsibilities
- Lead the construction team on site safely
- Oversee the construction of facilities: Paste Backfill Plant, Mill Expansion, Truck Shop
- Approve Job Hazard Assessments, procedures, and work plans
- Ensure project planning aligns with safety, budget, and quality requirements
- Participate in the procurement process and provide input on contract negotiations
- Support System Commissioning and Operational Readiness
- Provide input for financial forecasts and project controls
Requirements
- Proven safety leadership and team-building experience
- Extensive background in process plant commissioning and industrial construction
- Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
- Experience with commercial terms and contract management
- Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
