Job Description

A leading minerals company is seeking a Senior Director of Sales to drive business growth and sales strategy across the North American region. This role involves leading a team, setting sales targets, and expanding market presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing sales initiatives, developing high-performing teams, and identifying strategic growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve performance goals.
  • Implement incentive programs to drive sales growth and team motivation.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track team activities and results.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews to accelerate deal conversion.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Drive consultative and transactional sales to expand service offerings.
  • Collaborate with business units for cross-selling and market reach.
  • Manage proposals, client contracts, and pricing strategies.
  • Leverage CRM tools to track sales activities and generate reports.
  • Align marketing campaigns to support lead generation and sales targets.
  • Build strong client relationships to ensure retention and satisfaction.
  • Identify sales opportunities for both short and long-term growth.
  • Optimize sales expenses to achieve profitability targets.
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure successful service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in the mining industry, with comprehensive knowledge of the mining lifecycle.
  • Proven leadership in a sales capacity with at least 10 years of managing sales teams.
  • Strong strategic mindset with a track record of driving business growth and market share.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales performance tools.
